What We Do

Mobile food distribution for our community.
Operating from a specially equipped vehicle, our mobile food pantry is a beacon of hope and sustenance on wheels.

Through a range of educational courses, HOW aims to promote healthy eating habits, build culinary skills, and foster a deeper understanding of food systems and sustainability.

Connect donors and farmers with excess food to people in need.
We seek to establish strong partnerships with local farmers, businesses, and organizations to source fresh, locally grown produce, reduce food waste, and support the local economy.
HOW Overview
Mobile Food Pantry

"HOW" is a dynamic and innovative mobile food pantry program designed to bring essential nourishment directly to communities in need. With a strong commitment to combating hunger and promoting food security, our program aims to bridge the gap between available resources and individuals and families facing limited access to nutritious food options.
Operating from a specially equipped vehicle, our mobile food pantry is a beacon of hope and sustenance on wheels. Our dedicated team of volunteers and staff travel to various neighborhoods of Clear City Southside, ensuring that nutritious meals and pantry staples reach those who need them most.
The heart of our program lies in its accessibility and flexibility. We strive to eliminate barriers to food access by taking our pantry directly to the doorsteps of those who face challenges in reaching traditional brick-and-mortar food banks. By bringing nourishment closer to home, we empower individuals and families to prioritize their well-being without the added burden of transportation or distance.
HOW provides a wide variety of fresh produce, canned goods, grains, dairy products, and proteins to create well-rounded and balanced meals. Our selection is carefully curated to accommodate dietary preferences, cultural diversity, and nutritional needs. We prioritize the availability of perishable items and work closely with local farmers, businesses, and organizations to source fresh, locally sourced produce whenever possible.
Beyond providing sustenance, our mobile food pantry program also serves as a hub for community engagement and education. We offer resources and workshops on nutrition, meal planning, and cooking techniques to empower individuals to make informed choices about their health and well-being. By fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, we aim to create lasting connections, strengthen community bonds, and address the root causes of food insecurity.
